Terms and Conditions

DEFINITIONS : "Our" “We” and "Us" refers to Temper Temper Ltd. You" and "Your" refers to the original party (person or organisation) booking. In all cases, for 'he' read 'he or she".
YOUR RIGHTS. You and We are protected by statutory (legal) rights, according to the laws of England and Wales or any European Legislation which applies in England. Where statutory legislation exists, or new legislation comes into force, your and our statutory rights are not affected by anything within these terms, and those rights take precedence over these terms. Where any part of these terms is over-ridden by legislation, all other terms still apply. Any booking placed with us is bound by these conditions.

1. PRICE: All prices include VAT which will be applied at the applicable rates and included within the total. A deposit £50 is to be made prior to the event taking place which is allocated on the day of the event against attending guests. We accept payment by cash, cheque and most credit/debit cards. The deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled within four weeks but may be used if the booking is re-scheduled.

2. PAYMENT: The residue of the payment can be taken on the day of the event prior to commencement.

3. OVERDUE PAYMENT: We reserve the right to charge interest on all overdue balances at 3% per month compounded until the date payment is received in full or alternatively, at our discretion, in line with legislation relating to late payment of commercial debts. Interest is charged from the date that payment is due.

4. DEBT RECOVERY COSTS:  All costs, charges and expenses incurred by us in recovering any debt shall be paid by you. If a payment made by cheque bounces, you shall be liable for all reasonable costs incurred as a result.

5. BOOKING TIMES AND DATES: Providing a time slot is available, then an allocated booking can be made. Bookings can only be taken by telephone. Our allocations are Monday to Sunday 10-12noon, 1-3pm, 4-6pm and an additional slot on Saturdays from 7-9pm.

6. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL: You may cancel your booked slot at any time but will be unable to recover your deposit within four weeks of the booking date. You may use your deposit to re-schedule.

7. DISCLAIMER: Whilst every care will be taken to ensure that safety procedures are strictly adhered to and risk assessments have been undertaken, temper temper cannot be held responsible for injuries arising as a result of the guest not complying with the safety rules and our instructions. We reserve the right to exclude any guest who is disruptive or likely to cause injury.

8. SUITABILITY: It is your responsibility to ensure that our services are suitable for your requirements and that any guests are able and competent to participate.

9. ASSIGNMENT: We reserve the right to transfer any debt to us or other elements of our contract with you, or other liabilities in part or whole to a third party, any such assignment or transference will maintain all existing contractual terms. This may include the use of a factoring or other finance company for the assignment of your debt to us. All existing liabilities from us to you, and vice versa will remain valid.

10. QUALITY: We endeavour to offer the best possible service. We are committed to quality, using the best and most appropriate ingredients and take our responsibilities seriously. If you have a problem with a our service, please inform us immediately so that we can try to rectify it as soon as possible which will ensure that you and our future customers are pleased on departure from our premises.

11. PRIVACY: When booking a workshop / party, we require various personal details from you. It is important that you supply all details requested in order that we can process bookings efficiently. You can be assured that we treat your personal details, including email address and telephone numbers in confidence. We do not disclose such details to any third party or otherwise use them, except in connection with expediting/processing your orders/products. We do not send out unsolicited emails ('spam') and your email address will not be added to any mailing lists (unless requested). We will not use details of your purchases in our marketing/publicity materials or any other promotion without your consent and your credit/debit card details are not stored or retained by us. These policies exclude any disclosure which we are required by law to make, crime prevention, legal action or any issues relating to health and safety.

BY BOOKING A WORKSHOP  / PARTY WITH US, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS UNLESS AGREED OTHERWISE BY US IN WRITING.
